TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND WEBSITE USE — UNITED KINGDOM

Last updated: 26.08.2026

1. About us and these Terms

1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of littlesonny.com (the "Site") and to any purchase of goods from us for delivery within the United Kingdom.

1.2 In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Little Sonny Limited trading as Little Sonny, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17298998, whose registered office is at 207 Knutsford Road, Grappenhall, Warrington, Cheshire, United Kingdom, WA4 2QL. "You" means the person accessing the Site or placing an order.

1.3 You can contact us by email at hello@littlesonny.com or by post at the address in clause 1.2. If we need to contact you, we will do so using the email address, postal address or telephone number you gave us when ordering.

1.4 By using the Site or placing an order, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

1.5 These Terms are written in English and the contract between us will be concluded in English.

2. Your legal rights

2.1 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

2.2 If any provision of these Terms is inconsistent with your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.

2.3 For a summary of your key legal rights, you can visit the Citizens Advice website at citizensadvice.org.uk or call 0808 223 1133.

3. Eligibility and accounts

3.1 You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order.

3.2 If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Please tell us promptly at hello@littlesonny.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authority.

3.3 We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms. We will give you notice and, where practicable, an opportunity to respond before doing so.

4. Placing an order

4.1 Product listings on the Site are an invitation to treat and not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy.

4.2 A contract between us is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. An order acknowledgement email is not acceptance of your order.

4.3 We may decline an order, in whole or in part, where: (a) the goods are unavailable; (b) we are unable to deliver to your address; (c) there has been an obvious pricing or description error; or (d) we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these Terms.

4.4 If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full within 5 business days.

4.5 If we identify an obvious pricing error after we have accepted your order, we will contact you and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will not charge you a higher price without your agreement.

4.6 We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is. Please quote it whenever you contact us about that order.

5. Products

5.1 Images of products on the Site are for illustration only. Although we display colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that the colours shown on your device accurately reflect the colour of the goods. Minor variations do not mean the goods are faulty.

5.2 Product packaging may vary from that shown in images.

5.3 Our products are supplied with age and weight guidance, instructions and safety warnings. Please read these before use and keep them for future reference.

5.4 Our products must be used only for their stated purpose and must not be used as a substitute for adult supervision.

6. Prices and payment

6.1 Prices are shown on the Site in pounds sterling and include VAT at the applicable rate.

6.2 The price displayed for a product is the total price payable for that product, including all unavoidable charges. Delivery charges are shown separately and are calculated and displayed before you commit to your order.

6.3 If the rate of VAT changes between the date of your order and the date we supply the goods, we will adjust the VAT you pay, unless you have already paid in full before the change takes effect.

6.4 We do not apply any surcharge for paying by card.

6.5 We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which are processed by Shopify Payments. Payment is taken at the time you place your order. The payment methods available may change from time to time.

7. Delivery

7.1 We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom using Evri.

7.2 Estimated delivery times are shown on the Site and in your order confirmation. Unless we agree a different date with you, we will deliver your goods within 30 days of the day the contract is formed.

7.3 If nobody is available at your address to take delivery, the carrier will leave a note explaining how to arrange redelivery or collection.

7.4 If, after a failed delivery, you do not rearrange delivery or collect the goods from the carrier, we may contact you for further instructions and may charge the reasonable cost of storage and any further delivery. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or rearrange delivery or collection within a reasonable period, we may end the contract and refund you, less any reasonable costs we have incurred.

7.5 Goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to the address you gave us. You own the goods once we have received payment in full.

7.6 If your goods arrive damaged, or do not arrive at all, please contact us at hello@littlesonny.com. We will arrange a replacement or a refund. You do not need to pursue the carrier.

7.7 If our supply of the goods is delayed by an event outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the delay. You may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for goods you have paid for but not received.

8. Your right to change your mind

8.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to change your mind and cancel your order.

8.2 Telling us. You must tell us that you have decided to cancel within 14 days of the day you, or someone you nominates, receives the goods. Where your order is delivered in instalments, that period runs from the day you receive the last instalment. You can tell us by emailing hello@littlesonny.com, by using the contact page on the Site, or by completing the cancellation form at the end of these Terms. You do not have to use the form.

8.3 Sending the goods back. You must send the goods back to us within 14 days of telling us you have changed your mind. Our return address is given in clause 1.2, and we will confirm it when you contact us.

8.4 Return costs. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend you obtain proof of postage, as you are responsible for the goods until we receive them.

8.5 Handling the goods. You are entitled to examine and handle the goods as you reasonably would in a shop. If you handle them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods.

8.6 Your refund. We will refund you the price you paid for the goods, together with the standard delivery cost you paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we will refund only the cost of our standard delivery.

8.7 When we refund you. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or within 14 days of the day you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier. We refund to the payment method you used to pay.

8.8 This clause 8 applies to change of mind. If there is something wrong with the goods, clause 9 applies instead and you will not have to pay to return them.

9. If there is something wrong with the goods

9.1 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we supply must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

9.2 If the goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described: (a) within 30 days of delivery, you have the short term right to reject them and obtain a full refund; (b) after 30 days and within six months of delivery, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If that is unsuccessful, you are entitled to a refund, which in most cases will not be reduced; (c) after six months, you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement or partial refund, although you may need to show that the fault was present at delivery.

9.3 How to make a claim. Email us at hello@littlesonny.com with your order number, a description of the problem and, if you can, a photograph. A photograph is not a condition of your legal rights, but it usually allows us to resolve things faster.

9.4 We will respond within 5 business days to tell you how we propose to put things right, and we will do so within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you.

9.5 Return costs. Where the goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, we will pay the cost of return. You will not be out of pocket. In many cases we will not need the goods back at all, and we will tell you if that applies.

9.6 We will refund you within 10 business days of agreeing that you are entitled to a refund. Once we have processed a refund, the time it takes to appear in your account is determined by your bank or card issuer.

9.7 This clause does not apply where a problem has been caused by your misuse of the goods, use other than in accordance with our instructions, normal wear and tear, damage occurring after delivery that is not our responsibility, or modification or repair by anyone other than us or someone we have authorised. This does not affect your statutory rights.

10. Our right to end the contract

10.1 We may end the contract if you do not, within a reasonable time, allow us to deliver the goods or collect them from us.

10.2 If we end the contract in the situation set out in clause 10.1, we will refund any money you have paid in advance for goods we have not provided, but we may deduct or charge you reasonable compensation for the net costs we incur as a result.

11. Our liability to you

11.1 If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

11.2 We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods; and under Part I of the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

11.3 We supply our products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial or business purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

11.4 Subject to clauses 11.1 and 11.2, our total liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods to which the claim relates, together with any delivery charge you paid for those goods.

12. Site content and intellectual property

12.1 All content on the Site, including text, images, graphics, logos, product photography and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

12.2 You may view, download and print Site content for your own personal, non commercial use. You must not otherwise copy, distribute, modify or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.

12.3 "Little Sonny", our logo and our product names are brands used by us in trade. You must not use them, or anything confusingly similar, without our prior written consent.

12.4 We try to make sure the Site is available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Site for business or operational reasons, and will give you reasonable notice where we can.

13. Acceptable use

13.1 You must not use the Site to transmit malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure, scrape or harvest data other than as permitted by our robots.txt, or post content that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading or infringes another person's rights.

13.2 We may remove content and restrict access where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.

14. Reviews and content you submit

14.1 If you submit a review or other content, you grant us a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with our business.

14.2 You confirm that any content you submit is your own genuine opinion and experience, and is not submitted in exchange for payment or another benefit unless that benefit is disclosed.

14.3 We do not remove reviews solely because they are negative.

15. Your personal information

15.1 We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy at littlesonny.com/privacy, which forms part of these Terms.

15.2 We will only send you marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them or where the law otherwise permits. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing hello@littlesonny.com.

15.3 Opting out of marketing does not stop us sending you messages about an order you have placed, or messages we are required to send you, such as a product safety recall.

16. Changes to these Terms

16.1 We may change these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order governs that order. Changes do not apply retrospectively to orders we have already accepted.

16.2 The current version is always available on the Site and shows the date it was last updated.

17. Other important terms

17.1 Events outside our control. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations that is caused by an event outside our reasonable control.

17.2 Transferring the contract. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will tell you in writing if this happens and will ensure that the transfer does not affect your rights under the contract. You may only transfer your rights or obligations to another person if we agree in writing.

17.3 Third party rights. This contract is between you and us. No other person has any rights to enforce any of its terms.

17.4 Severance. If a court finds any part of these Terms unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

17.5 Delay in enforcing. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these Terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things, or prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.

18. Complaints and disputes

18.1 If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@littlesonny.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 15 business days. Where a complaint is complex and we need longer, we will tell you and keep you updated.

18.2 We do not currently subscribe to an alternative dispute resolution scheme. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may seek independent advice from Citizens Advice or take the matter to court.

18.3 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring legal proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
